Here’s an updated list of all events in Brissago for 2025:
March 1–9: Brissago comes alive with its historic Carnival and becomes the Kingdom of Re Pitoc. Music, dancing, risotto, and lots of fun for everyone! Come in costume!
Sunday, March 23: Join the Sagra Sciatt e Tortei: music, delicious food, and guaranteed fun in the Town Hall Square.
Saturday, April 19: The annual and unmissable Easter Market takes place along the lakeside in Brissago: stalls, street food, and sales of local and Ticino products. Don’t miss this famous event!
Saturday, May 17, 24, and 31: Brissago hosts the annual Leoncavallo Festival: an opera music festival honoring Maestro Ruggero Leoncavallo, who lived in Brissago in the early 1900s... Does "Ridi Pagliaccio" ring a bell?
Saturday, June 7: Celebrate in Piodita, one of Brissago’s oldest hamlets. Enjoy food, drinks, and live music.
Friday, July 18 & Saturday, July 19: The most important dates of the year! BRISSAGO IN FESTA awaits you with street food, inflatable games for children, stalls, and a fireworks display.
Saturday, July 26: Brissago fills the air with music again with the Summer Opera Concert.
Friday, August 1: On Swiss National Day, enjoy the annual swim across Lake Maggiore.
Saturday, August 2: Take a Stand-Up Paddle and enjoy an aperitif on the water!
Saturday, August 9: Festa al Legn: Hike from Mergugno or Cortaccio to the La Legn hut and enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore.
Saturday, August 23: Join the Sagra del Risotto! A classic dish from our region!
Saturday, September 13: The Events Commission organizes the first edition of MANGIA A BRISAG: a gastronomic journey to discover the places and products of our lakeside village.
