Today we set out to explore Brissago between history and landscape. Together we will visit the Brissago Islands and the Botanical Garden, then we will return to the village for a historical tour through the alleys of the center and afterwards we will have dinner in a very special restaurant, enjoying wines produced right on our mountains. Are you ready? Let's go!
DISCOVER BRISSAGO!
We start with a boat trip to the Brissago Islands, where we will visit the wonderful, unique Botanical Garden.
After the tour of the Botanical Garden, we will take a break at the restaurant of Villa Emden, the island's hotel.
We return to the village by boat and set out to discover Brissago's history, from the Sacro Monte with its Way of the Cross to the historic houses that were once the scene of events and the residences of famous personalities who brought the name of Brissago to the world.
Among them, we remember the librettist and composer Ruggero Leoncavallo, the painter Claudio Baccalà, and the Michelin-starred chef Angelo Conti Rossini, whose restaurant, once located at the Ottevi Wall, has been reopened today under the name Agorà, where we will enjoy a well-deserved aperitif.
